  • Biolubricants  ( 6 items )
A category of reasearch that is near and dear to our hearts.  These documents and reports cover biolubricants and their related feedstocks and product markets.
  • Biodiesel  ( 1 items )

First you may ask why we care so much about Biodiesel, aren't we a lubricants and specialty products company?  Yes, but our feedstocks are common with Biodiesel and advances in the Biodiesel market can have an immediate impact on our business, and yours if you are using renewable lubricants.

Much of the ultimate emmissions data, energy balance data, and other highly cited statistics for biolubricants rely on underlying data pertaining to Biodiesel since the ulimate consumption of spent lubricants or waste oil is in the fuels market in the form of fuel oil for heating or marine bunker fuel, and both are fuel applications whose substitute is diesel fuel or biodiesel.

So we are related to the biodiesel market in terms of feedstocks at the begining of the lifecycle for biolubricants and as a fuel substitute at the end of the lifecycle.
