BioBlend Announces LEED Certification for Renee Drosche PDF Print E-mail

(February 9, 2009 - Joliet, IL) BioBlend Renewable Resources, a leader in sustainable and biodegradable products for maintenance and service professionals, announced Renee Drosche, the Business Development Manager for BioBlend has achieved the highly regarded designation of LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Accredited Professional (AP). A LEED AP designation is awarded to individuals that demonstrate the knowledge to facilitate and successfully administer the LEED Certification process and streamline the process for organizations seeking certification. The LEED program is administered by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC).

Many of BioBlend's customers are becoming certified under the LEED standard or are considering the program. Having a LEED AP on staff will allow BioBlend to assist customers not only with products that help in the LEED certification process, but also to consult and educate companies about the LEED requirements and programs.

Sam Burkett, the President of BioBlend, noted that "LEED programs and certification are a logical extension of the Bio-Lubricants products that BioBlend markets. Providing services and consulting with a certified LEED AP is a value added service to assist companies first in the educational process and then in the LEED certification process."

BioBlend is the leading manufacturer and marketer of high performance, bio-based lubricants, oils and greases.
