From energy, lubricants, technology, distribution, real estate development, banking, consumer products, industrial services, and more, this combination of talents offers unique entrepreneurial and management perspectives.
Chairman of the Board
A proven entrepreneur, Jeff has more than 17 years of business experience in the petroleum industry in operations, marketing, finance, and applied technology. Jeff began his career with the management development program of Enterprise Rent-A-Car. From there, he founded his first business, Oilspot.com, Inc., in 1998, raising $5 million in venture capital to expand the business and launch one of the first successful e-commerce products for the lubricant industry. Oilspot.com grew rapidly and in less than three years, developed a customer base of more than 50 lubricant manufacturing and distribution companies before its acquisition in 2000 by FuelQuest Inc, where Jeff served for three years as Vice President of Business Strategy.
Drawing on his relationships with industry-leading lubrication-related businesses in diverse market segments, Jeff is building new partnerships for RelaDyne that spur the company's growth and expand its geographic reach—while broadening its offering of products and services to create greater customer value. Jeff is an active board member of the Chevron Texaco Petroleum Marketers Association, the Chevron Marketer Council, and the Chicagoland Chapter of the Young Presidents' Organization. He received a Bachelor of Science in economics from the University of Iowa.

Doug has worked in the energy and technology industries for the past 26 years. A chemical engineer by trade, Doug began his career in the industry with Exxon in various marketing and business development positions. Doug went on to co-found what has become the most successful software and services company in the downstream fuel industry, FuelQuest Inc. Based on the company's success Doug and his co-founder Rich Cilento were awarded Ernst & Young's prestigious Entrepreneur of the Year award for Energy Technology in 2006. Doug also served as President of Mansfield Energy, a nationwide provider of fuel supply, distribution, and logistics services. With over $8 billion in sales in 2013 Mansfield was ranked by Forbes as the 39th largest private company in America.
Kyle D. James
General Manager of Renewable Chemicals
Kyle serves as the General Manager of ADM Renewable Chemicals based in Decatur, IL, a role he has been in since 2012. Kyle has been with ADM for over 30 years and has served in a variety of commercial roles since joining ADM.
He has served as a business process commercial manager of Industrial Chemicals and vice president at Telles (an ADM joint venture). Before these roles, he served as vice president, Ethanol Sales, as well as General Manager of North American Refined Oils. He started his career in the commodity merchandising unit for ADM.
Kyle received a Bachelor of Science in agricultural business from Iowa State University in 1989 and a Master of Business Administration from Illinois State University in 2006. He is married to his wife (Debra) of 31 years and they reside in Decatur, IL.
President MMB Management Group, LLC
Bob has over 25 years in both the financial and lubricant industries and has established himself as a successful entrepreneur.
He began his career with PNC Bank, North America, focusing on middle-market clients serving as Vice President of Corporate Banking in Northeastern PA and New Jersey. In 2000, Bob joined his wife and father in law in business at Craft Oil Corp., a lubricant and service-based oil company. Bob focused on company strategic growth through acquisition and product expansion. In 2004, Bob and his wife purchased Craft Oil increasing revenues by $150 million, developing a regional market into 5 states with 150 employees. In 2012, Craft Oil was acquired by PetroChoice Holdings, LLC; and Bob became PetroChioce’s Chief Strategic Officer and also President of the Mid-Atlantic Division.
Bob served for many years on the Exxon Mobil NLDAC, the BP Castrol Lubricants Council, Shell Lubricants Advisory Council, Mansfield’s Air 1 National Council, and Cleanburn’s Advisory Council.
As of December 2017, Bob serves as the President of MMB Management Group, LLC, where he consults with distribution companies with an emphasis on the energy industry. Bob is an active partner at Mangan Mills Realty, LLC, a family-owned real estate firm that he runs with his wife.
Bob also serves as a Managing Partner and Board of Director for the Scranton Wilkes Barre Railriders, a Triple-A affiliate of the New York Yankees. Additionally, Bob is the acting President of the Board of Directors for the SWB Pinstripe Foundation and is an active board member of Elk Lake Capital, LLC.
Bob holds an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh Katz Business School in Strategic Management and has his BA from the University of Maryland in Economics with minors in Finance and Managerial Accounting.
Board Member; President, BioBlend
Sam has led BioBlend for the past eight years as President. Sam has over 22 years in the energy industry, including 13 years with ExxonMobil, where he oversaw their Industrial Lubricants business in the US. He negotiated and implemented North American Integrated Supply Agreements with United Technologies and Honeywell among others, as well as running the Industrial Oil and Grease product lines at Exxon.
At Vertex Green Energy, Sam led the overall development program for Vertex Green Energy in Biodiesel. Vertex's first plant produced Biodiesel in late 2006 and was sold to Earth Biofuels. Sam completed the business plan for two additional Biodiesel plants and a BioChemical plant and established a consulting division specializing in renewable energy and performed initial plant feasibility studies for other companies.
As Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Panda Ethanol Sam completed Panda's sales and marketing plan for ethanol sales in the US Market through a network of multiple 100 Million Gallon per year ethanol plants.
Sam holds a Nuclear Engineering degree from West Point and is a Licensed Professional Engineer.
Steve King, CLS
VP of Sales and Marketing
Steve King joined the BioBlend team in January of 2019 as VP of Sales and Marketing. He was recruited to revamp the Sales and Marketing departments and help guide the company through its current accelerated growth effort. Steve brings over 40 years of lubrication distribution and reliability experience to BioBlend and its customers.
Additionally, Steve has a long history of lubricant industry dedication, support, and participation with a total of 12 years leading the Amoco and Mobil’s Industrial Advisory Council and as a long-time STLE Certified Lubrication Specialist (CLS) and member.
Vice President Operations - BioBlend
Chet has over 30 years of business management experience in the energy and transportation sectors. As Vice President of Strategy, Chet is responsible for the day to day operations as well as strategic direction, partner relations, and all aspects of customer service.
Chet holds a BS in Geology and Environmental Science from Sam Houston State University.
